Succulents: Care

nl en fr de

Succulents are plants that can retain moisture for use during a drier period. This makes them real survivors and means that they can tolerate not being watered for a certain length of time. Place the succulent in the living room in a place where it will receive light (even direct sunlight) and provide it with a sparing amount of water and nutrients during the summer. They prefer cool, dry conditions during the winter.

Most succulents are not hardy and can tolerate only little frost. Even so, they make very good plants for the terrace or garden table. For example, make holes in the bottom of a shallow pot and arrange the mini-succulents closely together in rows according to colour. The result will be a beautiful arrangement for your terrace or garden table that you can enjoy all summer long.
